The parties noted the growth and intensity of Turkmen-Russian relations, which today have reached the level of in-depth strategic partnership. In particular, they noted the intensification of political contacts in various fields, including within the framework of authoritative international organizations.
The interlocutors also expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of cooperation in the economic, cultural and educational spheres. Thus, an agreement was reached on the creation of a Turkmen-Russian university in Turkmenistan, the construction of a new building of the Russian Drama Theater in Ashgabat, a new building of the joint Turkmen-Russian secondary school named after Pushkin.
The countries attach priority importance to the next meeting of the Turkmen-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, at which topical issues of partnership in economic, trade, transport, energy and other spheres will be discussed.
Esen Aydogdyev and Anatoly Rudenko also emphasized the productivity of the 6th summit of the Caspian states, which took place last year in Ashgabat, and spoke about the importance of the decisions and agreements adopted at it.
At the end of the meeting, the diplomats agreed to continue close cooperation between the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Moscow and the Russian Foreign Ministry.
