The chambers of commerce of Turkmenistan and Russia began a series of webi-nars on business cooperation.
The first webinar on “Export opportunities and import needs of Turkmenistan and Russia in the textile industry” was attended by representatives of the CCI of two countries (including the regional CCI of Russia), as well as the Ministry of Textile Industry and the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
The videoconference was moderated by the vice president of the Russian CCI Vladimir Padalko.
After reviewing the achievements of the textile industry of Turkmenistan, the par-ties discussed mutually beneficial proposals for the supply of textile products, as well as cotton fiber, yarn and cotton products from Turkmenistan to the regions of Russia.
Speaking to the participants, Serdar Berdyev, head of the analysis and new tech-nologies department of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, voiced proposals for cooperation in the field of exchange activities between the two countries.
Representatives of the parties also agreed to hold a business forum for entrepre-neurs of Turkmenistan and Russia, which will give a new impetus to the devel-opment of trade and economic relations.
The following webinars will be devoted to industry, logistics and other areas of bilateral partnership.
