The 17th meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation is being held in Ashgabat on November 17-18.
The commission is co–chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov on the Turkmen side, and by Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Bazrpash on the Iranian side.
The meeting is also attended by heads and representatives of a number of ministries and departments of both countries.
The agenda of the first day of the meeting includes topical issues of bilateral relations in the trade and economic, fuel and energy sectors, transport and logistics, industry, agriculture and water management, investment and standardization, according to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In addition, the meeting analyzed the implementation of the decisions of the previous convocation of the Intergovernmental Commission. On Saturday, the IPC on Economic Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Iran will continue its work.
