In the residential area of Gurtly in the western part of the city of Ashgabat, the construction of 46 more residential buildings with four floors begins. Thirty of them will be designed for 40 apartments each, and sixteen – for 68 apartments each. That is, a total of 2,288 apartments.

In addition, the buildings of a secondary school with 720 seats and a kindergarten with 320 seats will be erected here. It is also planned to build a park, highways, engineering and technical systems.

The decree on the construction of these facilities was signed by the President of Turkmenistan during a Cabinet meeting on Friday, November 10, the evening news release of the national news service reported.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov to take personal control of the construction of a new residential complex.
