A new ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation has been appointed
10.11.2023 | 22:06 |President Serdar Berdimuhamedov replaced the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation. The head of state, by his decree, relieved Batyr Niyazliev from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation, as well as to Slovenia, Serbia and Bulgaria, in connection with his transfer to another job.
The new head of the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Moscow was Esen Aydogdyev, who until that moment worked as the rector of the International University for Humanities and Development.
The President signed the relevant documents at a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday, held via videoconferencing.
Esen Aydogdyev has experience in diplomatic work. He was the ambassador of Turkmenistan to Austria and Switzerland. From 2014 to the present day he headed the International University for Humanities and Development.
