Guychberdi Gulov became the silver medalist of the XVII Youth Delphic Games of the CIS member states, held in Bishkek from October 6 to 10. He took second place in the “solo singing” category in the age category of 18-23 years. On Monday, the jury announced the winners of several competitions, including a young Turkmen singer, the Kyrgyz agency Kabar reported.
Chubak uulu Sanzhar from Kyrgyzstan received gold in this category, and Didar Shunaev from the Republic of Kazakhstan took third place and bronze.
The Turkmen school of academic singing at the Games was represented by Aigozel Ishankulova, solo folk by Guichberdi Gulov, and pop by Allaberdy Novruzov and Asal Ruslanov. Young talents included works of world classics and compositions from the treasury of folk art, as well as famous Turkmen composers, into the mandatory programs of their performances.
The CIS Delphic Games have become a platform for the exchange of experience and a creative laboratory for young talented participants. The best pianists, violinists, artists, vocalists in academic, folk and pop singing, as well as folk dance performers came to Bishkek. They were supplemented by the categories of folk and wind instruments, as well as artistic crafts.
