The Delphic Games for musicians from the CIS member states will be held in Bishkek from October 6 to October 10. The music competition will be held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan for the seventeenth time. For the first time, young musicians from Turkmenistan will also take part in the competition.
The country will be represented by six musicians from different music educational institutions in the country. There are four talented students from the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva - Erdzhel Yakshimuradov (piano), Shaislam Komildzhanov (piano), Elina Kurbanova (violin) and Seyran Atanyazov (violin). The music boarding school at the conservatory will be represented by a young pianist - Ainur Otuzova (piano). Arslan Sharipov (accordion) will represent Turkmen State Music College named after Danatar Ovezov. Stella Faramazova-senior teacher of TNC, winner of international competitions will be the accompanist for the Games.
Participants in the Games can be representatives of the CIS member states aged 14 to 25 years, and the competition itself will be held in two rounds with the performance of certain works. Prizes will be distributed based on the number of team points.
The competition program consists of the following nominations: piano, violin, academic singing, solo folk singing, pop singing, folk dance, playing wind instruments, fine arts, artistic crafts, national instruments. Based on the results of the competition, the winners will be awarded special nominations.
