Six of the most famous fairy-tale princesses of the Soyuzmultfilm film studio will appear in the new short animated film “Princesses: A Fairytale Song.” Cartoon princesses - characters from Soyuzmultfilm's animated films of different years - will become the heroines of the New Year's story, the premiere of which is scheduled for the end of the year. This was announced by general producer of Soyuzmultfilm, Yulia Osetinskaya.

The cartoon will be festive and musical. The creation of New Year's short films, in which the studio tells new stories about legendary characters, has become a tradition at Soyuzmultfilm, the general producer noted.

The royals were chosen from the Soyuzmultfilm collection, which includes more than 40 images of princesses. But the animated short film included the most famous princesses and princesses from various projects of the film studio. The Princess from “The Bremen Town Musicians”, Zabava from “The Flying Ship” cartoon, Thumbelina and Cinderella from the films of the same name, the Terrible- Beautiful Princess from “The Princess and the Ogres”, as well as the Shamakhan Queen from “The Tale of the Golden Cockerel” will return to the screens. According to the plot, the heroines will have to unite into a musical group to perform at a competition. On the way they will encounter obstacles and intrigues, which will be arranged by the cunning Shamakhan queen.

“On New Year’s Eve, miracles happen, and the brightest images of princesses will unite to meet their audience again and perform a bright, hit composition,” Soyuzmultfilm general producer Yulia Osetinskaya said about the project.
