Oriented on making people closer

The first matches of the semi-professional stage of the National Football Cup were held in Turkmenistan.

Altyn Asyr and FC Arkadag played at the Sport Toplums stadium in the capital. The meeting ended with a crushing victory with a score of 4:1 for a club from a city of national significance.

On the 18th minute, FC Arkadag defender Abdy Bashimov opened the scoring in the match. At the beginning of the second half, the player of "Altyn Asyr" Sohbet Durdiyev regained his balance.

Three minutes before the end of the main time of the match, Begmurad Bayov brought the team forward again, and at the end of the meeting he scored a double. The point in the match was put by Didar Durdyev.

The match of the other pair between "Merv" and "Ahal" took place in Mary. The confrontation ended in a draw - 1:1.

Murad Yagshiev's goal, scored in the 77th minute, was answered by the captain of Ahal Elman Tagaev with an accurate penalty kick at the end of the match.

The return matches of the semi-final stage of the Turkmenistan Cup will be held on October 20. They will determine the finalists of the second most important football tournament in the country.
