 UETT named after Oguz Han and the University of Tsukuba signed a contract on educational support

The Oguz Han University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan and the Japanese University of Tsukuba have signed a contract on educational support, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan reports.

The document was signed by the rector of UETT named after Oguz Han Gurbanmyrat Mezilov and President of the University of Tsukuba Nagata Kyosuke. The ceremony took place during the visit of the delegation of the Japanese University to Turkmenistan.

The University of Tsukuba is one of the leading universities in Japan, which has three Nobel Prize laureates among its presidents and teachers. The university is also known for its efforts to internationalize and participate in global projects for the development of higher education.

Oguz Han University of Engineering and Technology was founded in 2016 and is one of the most modern and progressive universities not only in Turkmenistan, but also in the region as a whole. The university conducts training and research in the field of chemistry, nanotechnology, biotechnology, ecology, computer science, cyber-physical systems and the economics of innovation.

The signing of the contract between the two universities was an important step in strengthening friendly and partnership relations between Turkmenistan and Japan in the field of higher education and science.
