Applications for participation in the Chinese language competition for foreigners from all over the world are open, China daily reports. This is a unique opportunity for Chinese language lovers to demonstrate their artistic abilities.

Applications are accepted in two categories - calligraphy and painting.

In calligraphic works, any style of writing made with a Chinese brush can be used. The written content of the work should be positive and express values such as truth, goodness and beauty.

Painting

There are no restrictions in the painting category. Candidates can submit Chinese paintings, oil paintings, watercolors, gouache, acrylics, sketches, prints, comics, computer-generated works, etc. The content must also be positive.

Moreover, participants can make a video in which they talk about the process of creating calligraphy and painting, share their artistic ideas.

The duration of the video should be between 2 and 5 minutes.

You must attach clearly scanned images of the work or a video about painting and calligraphy to the email

All participants will be awarded a certificate of honor.
