The riders of the Malaysian motorcycle expedition, following the London-Kuala Lumpur route, successfully reached Turkmenistan on July 21, the 19th destination on their journey, which includes 16 countries.
The team has already traveled to Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey...

They arrived in Ashgabat from Iran, where they had to overcome the test of strong winds while crossing the desert from Gorgan to Kuchan, according to the Malaysian daily newspaper in English New Straits Times.
Before continuing their journey, the motorcyclists visited the Malaysian embassy in Turkmenistan.
According to the participants of the mission, on the way they get acquainted with the local life and the beauty of nature. The full name of the expedition is: Quantum Metal Ekspedisi Perpaduan Watikah Kemerdekaan 66 London-Kuala Lumpur 2023 (QMEPWK66).

On June 20, the six members of QMEPWK66 began their journey from London and is expected to take 66 days before arriving in Malaysia on August 31 for the 66th Merdeka Day celebration - Independence Day.
The 22,000 km expedition is dedicated to the historical journey of Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haja, who in 1957 brought the Malay Declaration of Independence from London to Kuala Lumpur.
