China's telecom operators are demonstrating progress in using next generation 6G wireless mobile communication technology, China Daily reports.

Thus, at the World Mobile Congress held in Shanghai, a flagship platform promoting 6G and international cooperation in this area was presented. It is designed to accelerate the research and development of 6G technology.

The next-generation mobile communication technology, 6G, will integrate with big data, artificial intelligence and blockchain. As stated by the IMT-2030 Promotion Group (6G Technologies), 6G commercialization will occur by 2030 by integrating the physical and virtual worlds.

Telecom operators, equipment manufacturers and research institutes in China have also developed a document "6G requirements and design recommendations". It details the path that must be taken to achieve digital reach and flexible deployment of next-generation technology.

Xiang Ligang, Director General of the Information Consumption Alliance of the Telecommunications Industry Association of China, noted that in the past Chinese companies have worked with international organizations to establish standards for 3G, 4G and 5G technologies. In the future, China's enterprises should strengthen partnerships to form globally unified 6G standards.
