Oriented on making people closer

In the early morning, with the participation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, large-scale celebrations began in honor of the opening of the first stage of the development of the city of state significance Arkadag.

The country's first "smart" city embodies the most progressive trends in the global engineering and urban planning spheres, so it can be called the city of the future with good reason.

Celebrations in honor of the significant event started at the Akhan monument, where creative teams of Turkmenistan performed an inspired musical and choreographic composition.

Together with foreign guests, the President of Turkmenistan opened a monument depicting the image of the horse Akhan listed in the Guinness Book of Records. When the canvas covering it fell from the monument, colorful balloons flew up to the solemn melody, and fountains started working at the foot.

Next, the guests of the celebration proceeded to the main square of the "smart" city. The opening ceremony of the Arkadag monument was also held during the celebrations.
