FIFA has unveiled the official logo of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States of America.

The presentation ceremony was held at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. The logo was presented by the President of the International Football Federation Gianni Infantino and Brazilian footballer, two-time world champion Ronaldo Nazario.

In the center of the new logo is the official trophy of the FIFA World Cup on the background of the number "26", highlighted in bold. This is the first time that the trophy of the World Football Championship has been used in the logo of an official tournament.

FIFA claims that the image of the trophy and the year allow you to reflect the uniqueness of each host, while creating a recognizable brand structure for many years to come.

"This is a new World Cup for a new era," the FIFA head shared on his Instagram account.

In addition to unveiling the official logo, FIFA has launched the #WeAre26 campaign, which aims to encourage the world community to play an integral role in hosting the event in three years.

"This is the moment when three countries and an entire continent collectively say, 'We have come together to welcome the world and host the biggest, best and most inclusive World Cup in history,'" Infantino said, speaking at the launch ceremony.

The 23rd FIFA World Cup is scheduled to take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026. A total of 48 teams will take part in the world Football championship. This is 16 more than in previous tournaments.
