The traditional flower festival opened this year in Namangan for the 62nd time. Moreover, the fragrant and incredibly beautiful holiday began with a motorcade, in which vehicles decorated with fresh flowers took part. More than 200 cars – rare models, cars in retro style, modern jeeps, trucks, construction and even combines drove through the streets of the regional center. They were decorated with fresh flowers – more than 30 thousand different varieties created fancy patterns and ornaments, reports the news agency "Dunyo".

The main venue of the festival was the city park named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. 250 florists from the regions of Uzbekistan, as well as from 50 foreign countries, demonstrate their floriculture art on 8 hectares of the area. Masters of the art of ikebana and landscape designers also presented their works.

The Namangan Flower Festival has been held since 1961 and is a grand event. Foreign guests and tourists from 52 countries came to watch this show. The festival will last until June 21.
