On Wednesday, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took part remotely in the ceremony of the start of construction of a new school in the Dusti district of Khatlon region.
Representatives of the education sector and activists of the district gathered at the construction site of the school, designed for 540 seats. With the help of a video bridge, the heads of state launched the construction of a secondary educational institution, which will bear the name of Magtymguly.

The school will be built at the expense of funds allocated by the government of Turkmenistan, the domestic company "Dovlet Gurlushyk" in the Dehkan association "Ergash Sultanov" of the Dusti district.
As the Ministry of Construction told ORIENT, the Dovlet Gurlushyk Construction Company signed a contract for design work with the Tajik organization OOO Halton-Loikhasoz, which performed topographic survey, engineering and geological surveys at the construction site of the facility. To date, fencing of the territory of the construction site has been installed here, temporary offices and warehouses have been installed, a vertical layout has been completed, the soil has been brought in and leveled, and the foundation pit of the building has been developed.
The customer of the facility is the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tajikistan.
