The 15th anniversary of the Turkmen-German Management Training Program in Turkmenistan was celebrated in Ashgabat with the participation of Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy of the country Begmyrat Allakbayev, according to the website of the German Embassy in Turkmenistan.
Ulrich Niemann, the responsible head of the Department of the Management Training Program at the Federal Ministry of Economy and Climate Protection of Germany, and Isolde Heinz, the regional manager of this Program from the German International Cooperation Agency GIZ, also arrived to take part in the event.
The event allowed the Project partners from Turkmenistan and Germany to meet in person after a long break due to coronavirus restrictions and share their impressions and opinions about working together.
During the meeting, it was noted that over the years of the Program's existence, 15,000 executives from 17 countries took part in it, allowing many entrepreneurs and officials to visit Germany personally and get to know the German business community better.
About 300 businessmen from Turkmenistan visited Germany, which became possible thanks to the fruitful cooperation of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan with the Federal Ministry of Economy and Climate Protection of Germany.
