One of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Uzbekistan, Omon Med Pharm, which employs about a thousand specialists, plans to export its products to neighboring republics.
This became known following the visit of the President of the republic Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the city of Gulistan, Syrdarya region, where he got acquainted with the local economic cluster, the press service of the Uzbek leader reports.
The company produces more than 2.4 million packages of antibiotics, various ampoules and infusions from local medicinal plants and raw materials per year, providing polyclinics and hospitals of the country with the necessary drugs.
The Head of State instructed to facilitate the process of increasing exports to neighboring republics. In addition, during the visit, the president gave a symbolic start to the work of 6 new pharmaceutical enterprises, which will form the basis for the formation of a medical cluster in the Syrdarya region.
