Two new districts have been formed in the city of Arkadag
The Parliament of Turkmenistan has adopted resolutions concerning the administrative and territorial structure of the new center of the Ahal region and the naming of prominent personalities to social institutions in the city of Arkadag.
According to the documents published in the official press on March 20, two districts (etraps) will be formed within the city of Arkadag — Karizek and Gorjav. The Ministry of Agriculture is required to describe the administrative boundaries of the new city.
Also, the names of prominent figures were assigned to the new institutions of the city. Among them: the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Health and Rehabilitation Center, the Arkadag Monument, the Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding, the Berdimuhamed Annayev Pedagogical Secondary Professional School, and the Sachly Dursunova Medical Secondary Professional School.
Also, new names were assigned to cultural institutions, including the State Horse Circus named after Gerogly, the Dovletmammet Azadi Library, the State Drama Theater named after Aman Gulmammedov, the Specialized Art School named after Sahy Jepbarov, and the Children's Art School named after Shukur Bakhshi.
