She has definitely grown a million roses, and maybe more than one million. Moreover, her hobby is Dutch roses, the most beautiful and long, and, of course, this variety is the most popular in the flower market. Guljahan Yagmurova - local flower sellers called her nothing but the Queen of roses. Maybe the universe "prescribed" flowers in her biography from birth, because even her name means "world of flowers" in Turkmen.

And such a world, or rather a business, she created herself. And it all started 10 years ago with a trip to Holland – a country that, by right, is considered a world breeding power. After learning what was being done there and how, after returning to Turkmenistan, she built greenhouses using modern European technologies, chose 15 varieties of roses for every taste and color and began to grow them in special clusters.
Today, she is one of the largest wholesalers of magnificent "goods" in the country, the owner of pink plantations, as well as the owner of a network of fashionable flower boutiques in Ashgabat with the same name "Guljahan", which do not just sell bouquets, but set the style and taste in the Turkmen floral space.

On the eve of March 8, flower companies have a lot of work. Guljahan Yagmurova told Orient, this holiday has its own traditions, and buyers have floral preferences. For example, the bestseller of sales, of course, is a rose – these days they sell more than 10 thousand pieces. Another popular flower, which is presented to Turkmen girls and women, is also one of the symbols of Holland – a magnificent tulip – more than 5 thousand of them are sold.

― The creation of flower arrangements can be safely called art. Our team of florists takes a creative approach to their work – they collect magnificent author's bouquets that are more like the works of great masters of painting. For us, this is not just a product for sale. Almost every composition, as an interesting and exciting story of a person, is always unique, individual and with its own character and energy," says Guljahan.
In general, the floral business is very capricious, however, like the flowers themselves, and like the beautiful half of humanity, to whom they are most often given. Perhaps that is why the flower business is subject to a true woman, who, like roses, must not only be beautiful, but also have thorns in order to survive in the business world.

However, Guljahan's character was not "tempered" among flowers. After graduating from Magtymguly Turkmen State University, she worked as a school teacher for several years, then taught at the Institute of World Languages, graduated with honors from graduate school and only then became a businesswoman.
The most important thing in her story is that she always did what she loved, while remaining a woman with a capital letter. After all, in addition to her business brainchild, she has a family - husband, children, grandchildren, for whom she is, first of all, a caring mother, a kind grandmother and a great hostess, who, by the way, can easily cook a large cauldron of delicious pilaf.

And more recently, Guljahan decided to try herself in another direction - she opened a fashionable women's clothing store to dress in beautiful outfits representatives of the beautiful half of Turkmen society.
I want to say that while I was talking to Guljahan, she was collecting a beautiful flower arrangement, answering my questions, solving organizational and working issues, and even managed to talk on the phone with her grandson and tell him how much she loves him.

In a word, her rhythm of life is so fast that not everyone will pull out such a pace. They say about such women – "energy boils" and, most importantly, that this force is directed in the right creative direction. And this means that the Turkmen queen of flowers can launch a new project again, which, perhaps, is already "cooking" in her head.
