The Gas Summit in Istanbul with the participation of representatives of the exporting countries of natural gas from Central Asia, the Middle East and the Mediterranean Sea (Istanbul Gas Summit) is scheduled to be held on February 14-15.
This was stated by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Fatih Donmez, Anadolu agency reports.
The Minister also noted that Turkey is currently discussing gas supplies to Northern Macedonia and Moldova, and it is planned to sign a long-term contract for the purchase of gas with relevant companies in Oman.
Earlier in December last year, Turkmenistan hosted a summit of the heads of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey, during which attention was also paid to the supply of Turkmen gas through the Caspian Sea in the European direction.
