Oriented on making people closer

A working meeting on the organization and holding of the Festival of Friendship of the Peoples of the CIS countries in 2023 on the territory of the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy (VDNKh) in Moscow was held on Wednesday at the CIS Executive Committee. This is reported by the website of the executive committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Representatives of the CIS Business Center announced the holding of various events within the framework of the Festival - an economic forum, exhibitions, cultural holidays and much more.

Also, the participants of the meeting proposed to work out blocks of sports events, including mass sports - athletics, football, martial arts, sambo. They paid special attention to youth sports, namely, they discussed holding equestrian show jumping competitions.

It was also about the annual project, which is being implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia - "Industry and Sport". The delegates proposed to hold the Forum not only in Russia, but also in the CIS countries and make it International.
