Advanced methods of tennis training are mastered by coaches of the Turkmen national team
15.09.2019 | 22:42 |On September 13-25, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) gives a training seminar for coaches in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
From Turkmenistan Jennet Hallyeva (women’s team) and Andrey Dolmatov (men’s team) are participating in the “Level 2” courses for mentors of intermediate and advanced level tennis-players.
The topics, included in this 12-day course (10 days of classes and 2 days for examination tests), cover biomechanics and technique, tactics, teaching methods, physical training and applied psychology.
In April of the current year, General Secretary of the Court Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan Eziz Dovletov met with the head of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) David Haggerty (HYPERLINK: https://orient.tm/federaciya-tennisa-turkmenistana-nalazhivaet-mezhdunarodnoe-sotrudnichestvo/), having discussed with him the issues of cooperation and the possibility of Turkmen mentors to participate in seminars of international format.
Representatives of Turkmenistan are also invited to the 21st World Conference of coaches, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 25-27 by the ITF and the Asian Tennis Federation.
