Ashgabat hosts the Turkmenistan-South Korea football match
On Tuesday evening, September 10, the Kopetdag Stadium of Ashgabat will host a game between the two national football teams (Turkmenistan and South Korea) as part of the second round of the Asian Qualifying Tournament for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The match starts at 19:00. The Kopetdag Stadium with 26.5 thousand spectator seats welcomes all football fans. The arrival of the South Korean National Team can be considered a kind of continuation of the Korean Culture Week, held in Ashgabat. For several days, the Turkmen people got acquainted with the national dishes and costumes of the peninsula, as well as watched a spectacular sport - taekwondo (WTF). Next in turn is football, which in South Korea gained great popularity following the fourth place won the team of this country in the 2002 Football World Cup.
