Oriented on making people closer

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan Hamad bin Rashid bin Hamad Al-Azbi.

Expressing gratitude for finding time for a meeting, the ambassador presented his credentials to the esteemed President and conveyed the warm greetings from the Emir of the State of Qatar.

It was noted that Qatar is very interested in the further development of traditional friendly relations with Turkmenistan.

President of Turkmenistan congratulated the plenipotentiary representative of the Qatar on his appointment to the high diplomatic position, expressed his best wishes to the emir of the State of Qatar.

It was pointed out that relevant activities are underway to open a diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan in Doha, and which will give new impetus to effective and long-term cooperation.

During the meeting, the fuel and energy sector, trade, investments, transport and communication, chemical and textile industries, agricultural sector, health care and high technology systems were identified as promising areas of cooperation.
