Football club Ahal has replenished its arsenal with another award this season, winning the Turkmenistan Football Cup, the website of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan reports.

In the final game, Mergen Orazov's wards defeated their rivals from FC Shagadam with a score of 5:0. So, Shanazar Tirkishov, Didar Durdyev, Yunus Orazmamedov, Elman Tagaev and Resul Hojaev scored goals in the match.

On the way to the trophy, Ahal was able to surpass FC Altyn Asyr and Merv. Previously, Ahal won the National Cup in 2013, 2014 and 2017.

Last week, Ahal for the first time in its history became the champion of Turkmenistan in football, defeating the Shagadam team from Turkmenbashi with a score of 4:2.
