Turkmenistan has repaired the House of Health built by it in Afghanistan and donated humanitarian aid
29.11.2022 | 08:24 |In the Afghan district of Garamgol (province of Faryab), a celebration on the occasion of the overhaul of the Health House, built by Turkmenistan back in 2009 took place. The medical institution was significantly damaged after the well-known events, and therefore the Turkmen leadership allocated funds for its full restoration and equipment, and also ordered to transfer medical equipment, medicines and other necessary things as humanitarian aid.
On the occasion of the delivery of humanitarian aid and renovation of the Health House, a solemn event was held with the participation of the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Mazar-i-Sharif, the governors of Garamgol, Gorgan, Andkhoy and Khancharbag districts of Faryab province, heads of healthcare institutions, local residents, including elders.
In addition, during the ceremony, the Garamgol Education Department received Turkmen language textbooks for primary grades of local schools. After the official part of the celebration, a charity meal was organized.
The event was attended by representatives of the Afghan TV channel “Milli”, the “Tolkun News” channel of the Turkmen diaspora in Afghanistan and other media that covered this event.
