Representative of The Walt Disney Company – General Media Director for Central and Eastern Europe, CIS countries Kakhaber Abashidze discussed prospects of cooperation with representatives of the State Committee for Broadcasting and Cinematography, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The talks were initiated by the Turkmen side and were held in a video format on Tuesday. Abashidze with the activities of one of the largest media conglomerates of the entertainment industry, operational capabilities, production line and flagship brands – Disney, Pixar, Marvel, 20^th century studios, etc.

During the introductory meeting, the parties paid special attention to cooperation through the National Geographic TV channel, which is a subsidiary of this media holding. In particular, the possibilities of using the NatGeo media platform to display content on certain topics about Turkmenistan were considered. The prospects of joint filming of stories about the Turkmen nature were also discussed.
