Turkmenistan and the UAE will cooperate in the development of port infrastructure
During the visit of the Turkmen delegation to the UAE, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Abu Dhabi Ports group.
The document is intended to promote the implementation of new joint projects aimed at the development of transport infrastructure and services, the introduction of new working methods, improving the efficiency of ports through the introduction of advanced digital technologies.
The solemn ceremony of signing the memorandum took place in the building of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the UAE.
During the visit, the Turkmen delegation also held a number of meetings with the management of transport companies and government agencies, including the General Administration of Civil Aviation, Etihad Technic and Etihad Rail.
During the talks, possible areas of cooperation were discussed, including in the field of aircraft maintenance, interaction with the representative office of the Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan in the UAE. The topic of increasing regular flights between Turkmenistan and the UAE was also touched upon.
