Trading on SCRMET: carbamide, diesel fuel and straight-run gasoline are in demand
01.08.2022 | 22:34 |Last week, 35 deals totaling $46.5 million and 14.9 million Turkmen manats were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
On Monday, a large contract was signed for the supply of 150 thousand tons of B-grade carbamide to Singapore, the price of which was $283 per ton. The total amount of the transaction made up $42.4 million.
Hydrotreated diesel fuel was in demand as well. Foreign entrepreneurs purchased it in the amount of 3 thousand tons. The total sum of transactions amounted to $3.4 million. The price of the petroleum product decreased by 2.7% compared to the previous auction and amounted to $1,143 per ton.
Straight-run gasoline was also sold for export. 800 tons of fuel of this type were purchased for a total of $558.8 thousand. The price of this petroleum product increased by 4.4% in comparison with the previous auction and amounted to $698.50 per ton.
