The colorful paintings of the Turkmen artist Gulnaz Rozykulova impressed the visitors of the National Still Life exhibition, which is taking place these days in the Khabarovsk Regional Museum named after N.I. Grodekov, Russian Federation.

The exposition was opened as part of the Women in Art project, and the geography of the participants ranged from Central Asia to Yakutia, including Crimea and Primorsky Krai.

In total, the works of twenty artists are presented, and not only painting, but also woodcarving, graphics, and ceramics.

Gulnaz's paintings reached the regional capital of the Far East for three months. She works in the style of hyperrealism. When writing a picture, the author pays great attention to the drawing of objects and details. For the artist, the main goal is an illusory accurate and dispassionate copy of the objects of the image.

The canvases of Gulnaz Rozykulova are imbued with reverence for history, heritage and the desire to preserve and convey to posterity the originality of cultural, creative traditions, which, while preserving national identity, enrich the life of a modern person.

Her paintings are a kind of "encyclopedia" of artifacts and archaeological finds, what is included in the concept of the national cultural heritage of the Turkmen. Silver jewelry, jewelry, colorful Turkmen carpets and, of course, Akhal-Teke horses have a special place in her work.

The organizers of the exhibition noted that the works of the Turkmen artist are distinguished by painstaking authenticity and careful attitude to the experience and achievements of ancient masters - potters, blacksmiths, weavers and many other artisans who laid the foundations of national art. According to connoisseurs of painting, Gulnaz "crossed" the line of hyperrealism, her paintings can be used to study museum exhibits.

The exhibition at the Grodekovsky Museum will last until the end of April, and Khabarovsk residents have the opportunity to touch the Turkmen culture in the still lifes of Gulnaz Rozykulova.
