Oriented on making people closer

Within the framework of the visit to Ashgabat of the Austrian delegation headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, Michael Linhart, negotiations between the business circles of the two countries were held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan Dovran Khudayberdyev held meetings with Vice-President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber Richard Schensem, General Director of the Austrian company Turope Consult GmbH Peter Gindl, Regional Sales Director of Waagner Biro Bridge Systems Oswald Hutter and Head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society Neda Bergberg.

Within the framework of the meetings, special attention was paid to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmen and Austrian entrepreneurs, searching for opportunities for the implementation of new promising projects, and increasing trade between the countries.

The business delegation accompanies Foreign Minister Michael Linhart as part of the ReFocus Austria outreach initiative, through which the Austrian Foreign Ministry supports Austrian companies abroad. It is the largest global program and a key component of the economic recovery plan from the Covid-19 pandemic.
