In the evening, on September 26 with participation of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the Turkmen capital the opening of the multipurpose Ashgabat complex, unique for the region, which combines in itself the shopping and entertaining and business centres, and also comfortable inhabited apartments took place.
Guests of honour - President of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov, and city governor St. Petersburg of the Russian Federation Alexander Beglov also participated in the ceremony of opening of the unique object.
Member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, private company «Beyik Bina», constructed the object, which does not have analogue in the region, on the area of 8 hectares. Representing harmonious ensemble of the objects supplementing each other, the multipurpose complex was built along Teheran Street.
The structure of a unique complex included 4-storey Shopping centre, a 6-storey Business centre and a modern housing estate, and also a 2-storey hall for celebrations for 800 places. Here underground parking for 708 places, the centre of car service and car wash, cafe, artificial channel 309 meters long and other auxiliary objects.
It is important to note that objects of a complex differ in the increased seismic stability and are capable to sustain tremors measuring up to 9,5 points by the Richter scale.
The shopping centre of the complex with a total area of 65 thousand square meters provides simultaneous work of 240 shops, a supermarket, sports and cultural and improving complexes, cafe and food courts, beauty shops and hairdresser's, game halls and attractions for small children, halls for playing bowling and billiards, movie theatre, an ice skating rink and a corner of rest.
At the opening ceremony, the online speeches of representatives of international organizations who noted a new complex various certificates of quality also took place.
So, the German Council of shopping centres noted the object "For construction on the basis of high technologies", the London Academy of Docklands awarded Shopping centre with the international certificate "Certificate of Excellence 2021", the Institute of architecture "Vorarlberger" of Austria appropriated to a new object the certificate "Peculiar design". The new Ashgabat shopping Centre was also included in members of the International council of shopping centres (ICSC).
