Businesspersons of Turkmenistan increase release of food and industrial output
The business sector of the Turkmen economy continues to increase production of agricultural production and foodstuff. From January to August, more than 37% growth was made in this segment in the relation to the level of the similar period of last year. It is conditioned by start all of new refinery capacities in the branch and expansion of assortment of food industry in the domestic market.
The enterprises of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan also increased release of industrial output - here the level of last year's volume in eight months exceeded by 7%. Such figures were specified in the report of Deputy Prime Minister of Chary Gylyjov who supervises issues of activity of business community of the country in the government meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov told about need further state support of business, formation of conditions for its development and increase of contribution of small and medium-sized private enterprises to replacement of import and export direction.
