Oriented on making people closer

The performances of invited artists, showmen and other representatives of the creative workshop at weddings, family and other events in Turkmenistan will be taken into account by the state system as the provision of cultural services to the population.

On Friday President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov by his resolution approved the Regulation on state regulation of the provision of cultural services at weddings and other celebrations.

The regulation concerns performers - singers, musicians, dancers, as well as hosts of celebrations and other artists, without whom spectacular wedding celebrations in Turkmenistan are rarely held.

The document was developed on the basis of Article 20 of the Law of Turkmenistan "On Culture", in which the competence of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country includes, inter alia, the implementation of state management of cultural development, organization of reforms in the field of culture based on international standards and experience, history and mentality of the Turkmen nation and the introduction of principles of market relations, execution of the state budget in the field of culture, development and implementation of state social policy in relation to creative workers.

The regulation on state regulation of the provision of cultural services at weddings and other celebrations in Turkmenistan is approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, the law says.
