At the World Weightlifting Championships in Ashgabat, Emily Campbell from the United Kingdom won first place in the weight category +87 kg in group “C”.
Only having gone from the platform, the champion from “foggy Albion” shared her first impressions of the performance with ORIENT:
“At the World Championships in Ashgabat, I surpassed the result, which I showed at the national championship,” says the weight-lifter. - It was a great pleasure to speak in front of a large audience and exceed the expectations of all. But these wonderful moments on the platform demanded insanely high technical skills and months of hard training.
Emily Campbell is also the bronze medalist of the Commonwealth Games, which took place in Australia in April of this year.
