The "Garobogazkarbamid" plant, commissioned with the participation of President Berdimuhamedov, was awarded international certificates for environmental friendliness, efficiency and high quality of products, according to the TDH state news agency.
Braunschweig Technical University noted "Garabogazkarbamid" for the use of innovative technologies. During the presentation of the certificate, Turkmenistan's contribution to the preservation of the environment and the development of the green economy in the region under the Paris Agreement on Climate Change was again noted.
- Our plant is the largest in Central Asia producing ammonia and urea. And our production is environmentally safe. We have the most up-to-date equipment and filters for catching, purifying and processing emissions of gases and vapors," commented the director of the plant, Begmurat Dzhumaev.
The certificate issued by the International Society for Organic Agriculture Research at the University of Kassel (Germany) confirms the high efficiency and sustainability of the project. The advanced technologies used in the construction and equipment of the plant, as well as the high demand for products, allow the project to remain relevant and profitable in the long term.
On behalf of the International Scientific Center for Fertilizers (CIEC), the Garabogaz Carbamide Plant was awarded a certificate for excellent product quality. Due to the fact that the company's products are fully export-oriented, it meets all international standards and is already in demand on the market.
The capacity of the plant put into operation amounts to 1.15 million tons of carbamide per year. The contracting agency of the project was state concern "Turkmenkhimiya", contractors - Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan) and Gap Inşaat (Turkey).
