On June 4, Ashgabat will become the epicenter of the international fashion industry and advanced manufacturing technologies – the capital will host the large-scale Turkmen Textile Expo 2026 exhibition for three days. This prestigious event will bring together leading textile industry leaders, renowned designers from around the world, authoritative experts, and high-tech equipment manufacturers. This year's forum promises to be an extraordinary event, uniting the aesthetics of high fashion and the pragmatism of global business.
The exhibition's exclusive status is underscored by the visit of top executives from the global fashion industry, whose presence elevates the Ashgabat venue to the highest level. Among the special guests visiting the capital will be Carlo D'Amario, CEO of the legendary British fashion house Vivienne Westwood.
Another prominent participant will be Marzio Nocera, founder and chairman of the renowned Fashion Channel Italy, which traditionally broadcasts shows from Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks and will now capture the best moments of Turkmen Textile Expo 2026 on its screens.
The program will culminate with spectacular international fashion shows on the main catwalk on June 4 and 5. Outstanding designers from France, Morocco, Oman, Russia, and Central Asia will present their new haute couture collections, conceptual ready-to-wear, and bold interpretations of national costumes.
Style enthusiasts will see works by such international artists as Romuald Bertrand and Maison Claude Patrick from France, Wafaa Idrissi from Morocco, Yoland Fashion House from Oman, Nurzat Jeenbek from Kyrgyzstan, Dilovar Mirzaev and Madinabonu Ergashova from Uzbekistan, and Olga Kadeikina with the Russian brand SOLOVE.
Along with them, the color and powerful potential of the Turkmen school of design will be demonstrated by recognized domestic brands Goç Ýigit, Gulyaka Lybaslary, Emine Bridal, Däp, Peýkam, as well as fashion designers Abat Mukhammetniyazova, Seirangeldi Berdyev and Anna Kor.
The forum's professional agenda is supported by a robust intellectual platform. On the second day of the exhibition, an international expert seminar will be held on the sustainable development of the industry, environmental certification, and the strict demands of the global market. Speakers from Europe and Central Asia will discuss the implementation of the Better Cotton and Fairtrade global standards, as well as supply chain traceability. The following day, a series of open discussions will focus on the synergy between textile production, cultural heritage, and strategic branding.
Furthermore, a special tour of the country's industrial giants is organized for foreign delegates, including the Turkmenbashi Denim Complex, the Rukhabat Textile Complex, the Ashgabat Pan-Velvet Factory, and the Ashgabat Textile Complex. Turkmen Textile Expo 2026 represents a new stage in Turkmenistan's integration into the global creative and economic space. This event defines future trends in the development of the light industry, demonstrating how centuries-old traditions of quality can harmoniously combine with digitalization and environmental responsibility.
Organizers invite residents and visitors to the capital to visit the exhibition halls of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan from June 4 to 6 to witness the birth of new fashion trends and the signing of strategic contracts that are changing the map of the Eurasian textile market.
