Next year, a marketplace for halal products “I WantHALAL” may appear in the capital of Tatarstan. Director General of the company “I Want Halal”, Anvar Dzhavburaev, spoke about this at the Russian Venture Forum that ended in Kazan.

They plan to begin development of the marketplace in the fall of 2024 and partially launch it in the spring of 2025.

A year later, the online platform can be expanded to Moscow and the markets of the CIS countries.

Currently, the multifunctional marketplace includes three services, including personnel selection and hotel booking services, and a directory of Islamic finance instruments.

“We are not inviting users yet, we want users to come not to an empty site, but to a site that already has value for the consumer,” Dzhavburaev said, adding that halal is a financially intensive area not only for Tatarstan, but throughout world.
