Oriented on making people closer

The resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan on declaring 2024 the year of “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” was read out at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of members of the State Security Council, heads of regional administrations and the city of Ashgabat.

The meeting was held on Friday, December 29, at the Rukhyet Palace, chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Chairman of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova informed the head of state about the work carried out to choose the motto for next year, taking into account the proposals of members of the Halk Maslakhaty, representatives of public organizations, labor collectives and citizens. The main motive was the desire to associate the motto of 2024 with the name of Magtymguly on the occasion of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and classical poet of the East and the poem “Pähim-paýhas ummany Magtymguly Fragi” by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved and adopted the motto “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” and the emblem of next year presented by the Mejlis. This was reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Radio and Television.
