The stability and certainty of China-Russia ties are particularly precious in an international landscape marked by change and chaos, said President Xi Jinping when meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Beijing on Wednesday.
"This year marks the 30th anniversary of the China-Russia strategic partnership of coordination and the 25th anniversary of the China-Russia Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation. Under the strategic guidance of both me and President Putin over the years, the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination has maintained high-level development with fruitful cooperation outcomes in various fields. In an international landscape marked by change and chaos, the stability and certainty of China-Russia ties are particularly precious, and the strong vitality and exemplary significance of the China-Russia Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation are more prominent," said Xi.
"This meeting shows the importance you attach to the Russia-China comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for the new era. Russia and China enjoy sound growth momentum in their cooperation in trade, economy, investment, people-to-people exchange, and culture. You and President Putin have drawn the blueprint for the future cooperation between our two countries," said Lavrov.
