Annual passenger throughput at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport in northwest China's Shaanxi Province reached 48.536 million in 2025, setting a new all-time high.
Over the past year, the airport resumed and launched 60 international and regional passenger routes, connecting 52 major cities across 25 countries worldwide. International passenger volume surged to 1.993 million, marking a year-on-year growth of 50.7 percent.
The airport has prioritized enhanced services for special-needs passengers, upgraded facilities such as restrooms and nursing rooms, and added more charging facilities across terminals. More free shuttle buses and wheelchair services are also available.
Meanwhile, the airport has fully implemented the 240-hour visa-free transit policy and accelerated the construction of an inbound service center. A dedicated service counter for international travelers has been set up in Terminal 5 to improve the entry experience for foreign visitors.
