China’s fiscal revenue up 0.8 pct in first 11 months
China’s fiscal revenue edged up 0.8 percent year on year to 20.05 trillion yuan (about 2.85 trillion U.S. dollars) in the first 11 months of 2025, according to data released by the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday.
During the period, the country's tax revenue totaled 16.48 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.8 percent year on year, while non-tax revenue decreased by 3.7 percent to 3.57 trillion yuan.
China’s general public budget spending rose 1.4 percent year on year to 24.85 trillion yuan from January to November. Government spending on social security and employment, education, health care, science and technology and environmental protection and energy conservation rose 8.1 percent, 4.4 percent, 4.7 percent, 7.9 percent and 6.6 percent, respectively.
