According to the latest official data released by Shenzhen Customs on Friday, the imports and exports of the southern Chinese tech hub to other APEC economies reached 899.65 billion yuan (approximately 132.2 billion US dollars) in the first quarter of this year, marking a 30.2% year-on-year increase. This quarterly figure represents an all-time high and ranks Shenzhen first among all cities in mainland China.

Shenzhen will host the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting on November 18 and 19, along with the APEC CEO Summit and the joint ministerial meeting of foreign and trade ministers.
