The two-time champion of Turkmenistan, "Arkadag" Football Club, has begun preparations for the debut international tournament - the AFC Challenge League for the season 2024/25.

ATF President Yuri Polsky presented the commemorative trophy to the Chairman of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan Eziz Dovletov, highlighting the achievements and progress in the development of tennis in the country.

As a result of the draw, the Turkmenistan national team was placed in Group C. In this group, it will compete against the teams from Uzbekistan (hosts), Australia, the Philippines, and Kuwait.

The first stage of the Future Games Trophy's journey before the 2025 tournament, which will be hosted by the UAE, will pass through Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Qatar. This was reported by TASS, citing the head of the Future Games Igor Stolyarov.

From 7 to 12 October, the VII Universiade of the Caspian countries took place in Astrakhan. The competition brought together students from universities that are members of the Association of Universities and Research Centres of the Caspian States. The team from Turkmenistan, consisting of students from Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly and Turkmen State Architectural and Construction University, participated in the Universiade.

A student of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports, candidate master of sports Amanmuhammet Khommadov won the main tournament of the Turkmenistan Chess Federation Cup, which was held from October 3 to 8 at the Specialized Chess and Checkers School in Ashgabat.

The long-awaited tournament for the Cup of the Chess Federation of Turkmenistan has started in the Ashgabat Chess and Checkers School, bringing together 285 enthusiastic chess players!

Rustam Rahmankulov, a student at the Central Ukrainian National Technical University and a proud citizen of Turkmenistan, secured a gold medal at the Ukrainian Combat Jiu-Jitsu Cup. The event took place from September 27 to 29 in the scenic Carpathian region of western Ukraine.

On the international sports stage, as well as in other areas, Turkmenistan demonstrates a steady growth of its authority. This is confirmed by the success of our athletes at major international competitions and Olympics. This year, our young chess players also presented the country with a valuable gift for the Independence Day celebrations by returning with awards.
