In honor of the professional holiday of domestic diplomats, The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a ceremony to present employees of the diplomatic service with the “Türkmenistanyň ussat diplomacy” insignia.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the diplomatic workers of Turkmenistan on their professional holiday. In an address on this occasion, the head of state noted that over the past years the administrative and personnel structure of domestic diplomacy has been strengthened, solid experience and knowledge has been accumulated, and methods and skills in this area have been improved.

The volume of mutual trade turnover in 2022 exceeded 1.6 billion US dollars. “In connection with the full discharge of contractual obligations for the supply of Turkmen natural gas to Russia, we expect an improvement in the results of foreign economic activity in 2023,” Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin said at a briefing for representatives of Russian media accredited in Turkmenistan.

February 16, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan – The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) held its fourth annual Civic Forum bringing together representatives of the Mejlis, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Ministry of Education, the Turkmencommunications agency and 15 civil society organizations. The forum foused on the concept the implementation and of the State Program on Digital Economy Development for 2019-2025 through the application of innovative digital solutions.
