The Balkan shipbuilding and ship repair plant in Turkmenistan will begin assembling the Damen CSD 650 dredger under the supervision of “Damen Shipyards Group” engineers. On Friday, March 29, during trading at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, petrochemical products, light industry, agricultural products of the country and Turkmen carpets were sold.

A significant event took place within the framework of cooperation between «Balkan» Shipbuilding and repairing yard and «Koryo Shipbuilding Industry Technology Co., Ltd.»: korean partners transferred their know-how in the field of shipbuilding to the turkmen side.

He noted that both sides reviewed the implementation of the agreements agreed upon by the heads of the two countries during the meeting in Tehran.

Ways to expand bilateral Turkmen-Iranian ties were discussed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan, who arrived in Ashgabat on Thursday, March 28.
