The next meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council will be held on October 8 in Moscow. The heads of state will exchange views on cooperation within the CIS and decide on the chairmanship of the Commonwealth in 2025.

The possibility of opening a branch of Kent State University in Turkmenistan was discussed during a meeting between Deputy Minister of Education Azat Atayev and Rector of this American university Todd Deacon.

The World Internet Governance Conference 2024 (WIC 2024) will be held in the city of Wuzhen, located in the eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang, from November 19 to 22. The event will focus on artificial intelligence and will be dedicated to the theme "A digital future focused on people and artificial intelligence for good - building a community with a common future in cyberspace".

The meeting at AC Language School was held as part of the working visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan to the United States of America. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the United States Meret Orazov, the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Azat Atayev, the Vice-Rector of the International University for Humanities and Development Nurmuhammet Shihliyev and the Vice-Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Begench Myatliyev attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Chief Administrator for Government and Operational Affairs, Angelas Chaviz, from AC Language School.

During the working visit of the Turkmen delegation to the United States, a meeting dedicated to strategic cooperation in the field of education was held at the US State Department. The meeting was held at a high level with the participation of leading representatives of the American educational and diplomatic departments, including Deputy Director of the Office of Press and Public Diplomacy of the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs Tammy Palchikov, the Deputy Director of the Office of Global Education Programs Jamie Sharp, the Deputy Director of International Affairs of the US Department of Education Jennifer Hong, the Acting Director of the Office of South and Central Asian Affairs, Office of Academic Exchange Programs Karina Keating, and other representatives of the US Department of State. The Turkmen side was represented by the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Azat Atayev, thr Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the United States Meret Orazov, the Vice-Rector of the International University for Humanities and Development N. Shihliyev, the Vice-Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan B. Myatliyev.

On September 30, a monument to the great poet and founder of the literary Turkmen language, Magtymguly Fragi, was ceremoniously opened in Moscow in the atrium of the All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature named after M. I. Rudomino. This sculpture was created and erected on the initiative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation.
