The 29th International Oil & Gas of Turkmenistan Conference and Exhibition (OGT 2024), which will be held from October 23-25 in Ashgabat.

Iraqi Energy Minister Ziad Ali Fadel announced on Saturday that he had signed an agreement with Turkmenistan to secure daily supplies of 20 million cubic meters of gas.

The international expert meeting on improving energy connectivity will be held in Ashgabat on October 16-17. The meeting’s agenda includes the critical need for stable and efficient energy connectivity to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 7, which provides affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.

A training course for representatives of countries joining the WTO on market accession negotiations was held last week at the World Trade Organization Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland.

On Monday, 14 October, the third meeting of the Turkmen-Chinese working group on investment cooperation was held in Ashgabat. During the meeting, the progress of the agreements reached between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of China Xi Jinping during the "Central Asia-China" summit in May 2023 was analyzed.
